Aura is a group of experienced performers who have seen and recognized the happiness that upbeat music brings to individuals in transition, and in long term care situations.  We believe in physical and spiritual renewal through song, and have seen the healing power that musical entertainment provides.  We are thrilled to start the sing-along songs that residents remember and love.

 

Improved motor control and focus on everyday movements are just a few of the proven therapeutic benefits of music.  We have a passion for providing an escape into a joyous place for both the residents and their families.

 

All of the musicians associated with Aura are talented performers who have played in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living communities for many years.  As a group, they are specialists in providing uplifting songs including the standards, show tunes, folk songs, ethnic, and traditional songs.  They each have specialty song lists appropriate for many occasions and holidays.
